HeroBPO is ISO 9001:2000 certified by KPMG for “Providing BPO Services” and the company has established quality parameters in place, while targeting continuous improvement across all its processes. The coveted certification is a reflection of the company’s stringent Information Security policies and procedures. The prestigious BS7799–2:2002 information security certification is globally recognized as the best practice standard for information security management. The prestigious certification of compliance was recommended in August 2005 following a successful audit by KPMG, the world’s second largest audit firm. HeroBPO is one of the few companies to have achieved this recognition and this further accentuates the company’s commitment towards safeguarding sensitive customer information and serving them effectively. The standard is not limited to IT security alone but also provides a Generic Quality framework in line with the PDCA approach and is universally applicable to all types, nature and sizes of organizations. It provides over 127 main controls addressing 36 control objectives and over 500 detailed controls.
Conformance to industry standards such as BS7799:2-2002 further assures Hero BPO’ clients of the security processes and methodologies followed by the company. Besides employee education, HeroBPO has also deployed very rigid access and physical control policies which are monitored around the clock. The BS7799:2-2002 Management Representative reviews the information security process and procedures periodically. Before the launch of any new program, a full information security audit is conducted as well.
